Geotechnical / Soils / Grading Services

Geotechnical Services such as testing, investigations, consulting, and engineering are performed by All American Inspection's in-house Geologists and Engineers. In some circumstances, in-field inspections, testing, and observations can also be performed by licensed Deputy/Special Inspectors who hold an ICC Soils Inspector license plus approval by the respective city, county, or jurisdiction in which they perform their inspection. A special Grading Deputy license is required to perform grading inspections and observations in certain jurisdictions such as City of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Upon completion of the inspection or consultation, the registered Deputy/Special Inspector or Geologist will furnish a compliance or observation report that can be given to the City Inspector at time of city inspection and to the Engineer of Record. Without this documentation, city inspection will not be passed.

Occurring at the beginning stages of construction, soils and geotechnical work is the true foundation of any project. Having many components, including slope stability, settlement or expansive soils, compaction, subgrade preparation, trench backfill, aggregate base placement, and more, you can count on All American Inspection to schedule experts that have the knowledge and experience required to get the job done.

Our geotechnical experts also have the ability to perform:
